Rawamangun Velodrome Construction Reaches 27 Percent

The construction of international bike arena at GOR Velodrome, Rawamangun, East Jakarta is accelerated. It is predicted that the project for Asian Games 2018 will complete on time.

The construction has reached 27 percent

“The construction has reached 27 percent,” said Dharmananda Lukito, Project Director of Jakarta International Project PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro), Thursday (12/22).

He predicted that the construction will reach 30 percent up this month. Total target is to complete before Asian Games 2018.

Velodrome Able to Gain Foreign Tourists Visit

“The progress will advance three percent in the last eight days ahead. It means the construction is faster compared to its initiate target,” he added.

Meanwhile, Project Manager PT Jakpro, Iwan Takwin, explained his side deploys two tower cranes to speed up the construction.

“There are two zones of construction, pile cap fabrication and basement drilling,” he stated.
